Privacy Policy

We collect only the information you choose to provide and a limited amount of standard technical information.

Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, request a quote, or place an order, we collect the details you give us, typically your name, email address, phone number (if provided), company name (if provided), and the contents of your message or order, including which products or services you are inquiring about. The contact form also tells us the language of the page you used and the first page of the Site you opened during that visit, so we know which page led to your message.

Order and transaction information. When you purchase hardware or hosting services, we collect the information needed to process and fulfill your order, such as billing and shipping details and a record of the products and services purchased. We do not store full payment account numbers on the Site; pricing is provided by quote and invoicing.

Standard technical information. Like most websites, our Site and the third party services it relies on (described below) may automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. This information is used to operate the Site, maintain security, and understand how the Site is used.

Our Site uses a small number of third party services that may set cookies or collect technical information:

• Embedded video. Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube. When a video is present, YouTube may set cookies and collect data in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
• Search engine tools. Our Site is registered with search engine webmaster tools (such as Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools) so we can monitor the Site’s performance in search results. These tools provide us with aggregated, nonidentifying data about search traffic.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits to the Site and submissions of our contact form. It sets first party cookies and records information such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. We have turned off Google signals and ads personalization, and we never send your name, email address or message to Google Analytics. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Vercel Web Analytics. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting provider, to count page views. It does not use cookies. Visits are counted with an anonymous hash that is discarded after 24 hours, and only aggregated statistics are kept (for example page address, referring site, country or region, device and browser type). It is not tied to your IP address and cannot identify you or follow you across other websites.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individual visitors. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling cookies may affect how some features (such as embedded video) function.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes;
• Process, fulfill, and support your orders for hardware and hosting;
• Communicate with you about your orders, services, and requests;
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site; and
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share personal information only as needed to operate our business, including with:

• Service providers who help us fulfill orders, ship hardware, process payments, or operate the Site, under obligations to protect your information;
• Hardware manufacturers where necessary to facilitate warranty claims (see our Terms of Service); and
• Legal and safety purposes, where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fathom Labs, our customers, or others.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to provide our services, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes.

You may contact us at any time to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information you have provided, or to opt out of nonessential communications. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
